Boasting some incredible flavours. This American born brand were one of the first protein bar manufactures to create the high protein and low carb style we know and love today.
They relied heavily on Erythritol an artificial sweetener to get the sweetness and flavour into what would probably be a bland protein bar.
They also manage to mostly get all bars under 200 calories – but above 20 grams Protein .
In Quest’s case the protein is much higher quality than many you see of the market. It’s mainly comprised of Milk protein and Whey protein. Not a single bit of poor quality collagen protein to try to push up the numbers.
The texture of these bars is an acquired taste. We for one don’t mind it too much – and if you get a good flavour – it makes up for it.
But sometimes if squashed they can end up very rubbery and an odd mouth feel.
